What you can do: |
Donate empty inkjet and laser cartridges. |
Meet the needs and time commitments of your sponsor(s). Find out if your
sponsor wants to enter their donated cartridges into the Shopping Cart and mail
the package or prefer you to pick-up and process the cartridges. Also, your
sponsor has the choice to sign-up or not to sign-up. Ask them which option they
prefer.
Put signs and posters by every
printer reminding everyone to recycle. |
Supply your sponsor with appropriate signs and posters
to be placed by printers informing employees/participants where to place the
empty cartridges for recycling. |
Be a drop off
location for recyclable cartridges. |
Ask a sponsor located in a busy
traffic area to be a drop-off site for a cartridge fundraising drive. Provide
sponsor with a box. (Line with a plastic trash bag to protect carpets and
floors.) Pick up the cartridges frequently so the box doesn’t overflow. |
See if any of their
contacts would be interested in donating cartridges! |
Provide materials, fliers and introductory letters for Sponsors to give to
their contacts. |
Display posters or fliers about the recycling fundraising program you are
supporting. |
Ask sponsors if they would
display posters or fliers informing the public how they can help by recycling
their empty inkjet and toner cartridges. |
| |
Find a sponsor who will display your poster or flier.
Your poster could say: “Recycle your inkjet
and toner cartridges to help us raise funds for (e.g. playground equipment).
For more information call (your phone
number) or email (your contact email)." |
